This Privacy Policy describes how Quorum Industries ("we," "us") handles information in connection with theautobodydirectory.com and The Autobody Directory service. The full directory is launching soon; this policy applies now and will be expanded at launch to describe the live product's features in detail.
1. What we collect on this website
This website is an informational page. It does not use advertising trackers and does not require an account. If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to send. Our hosting provider may log basic technical data (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability.
2. The directory's data
The Autobody Directory compiles information about businesses — auto-body and collision repair shops — from public government records (state licensing agencies), OEM certification programs, and shop owners who verify and attest to their own information. It is a directory of businesses, not consumers. We do not sell consumer personal information. When business datasets are licensed to commercial customers, they contain business-entity information only (for example: shop name, business address, business phone, state license number) — never individual owners' personal names, and never consumer data.
3. SMS / text messaging
Shop owners can verify ownership of their listing by requesting a one-time verification code sent by text message (SMS) to the shop's publicly listed business phone number, or may receive service messages they request.
- Consent & opt-in: we send a text only when you request one (for example, by choosing "verify by text" during a shop claim). We never send marketing texts.
- No sharing of mobile numbers: phone numbers collected or used for SMS verification are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes.
- Message frequency: message frequency varies and depends on the actions you request — typically one message per verification request.

4. How long we keep information
Verification records are kept only as long as needed to operate the service and meet legal obligations. Contact emails are kept as ordinary business correspondence.
5. Your choices and rights
You may contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you or your business, to correct it, or to request deletion, subject to record-keeping we are legally required to maintain. Shop owners can correct their listing by claiming it once the directory launches.
